Yesterday we had the privilege and joy to go watch, my hubby and the Delta's play for the League Title. It was a gorgeous day at the ballpark, with shade from the tent above our heads, chairs to lounge in, snacks and drinks in the cooler, and a little music playing off the iphone/can jam! Pre-gaming as some would call it :)
As the game started, we snacked, talked, cheered, and simply enjoyed being outside on such a beautiful day! As you can tell, the boys enjoyed themselves, being silly and cute as always! They cheered loud for my husband, when he was called up to bat, as well as for my brother in law Scott! The game was intense and challenging, as you can imagine, considering it was for the championship! After nine long innings, the boys put up one run and the Cardinals three! Sadly we lost the game, but finished the season in second place :) Not a bad way to finish! The boys truly enjoyed themselves, and gave us a few laughs along the way! What a wonderful Sunday afternoon at the ballpark!
